We have 900 truck parking spaces available.

Is my pet allowed in the Truckstop?
A
While we love our furry friends, pets are not allowed inside the truckstop. Licensed service animals are allowed. No comfort animals please.

What do I do if there's dangerous weather while I'm at the Truckstop?
A
If there is a need to take shelter due to dangerous weather, we will provide direction via our in-house intercom system and our trained staff.

Where can I park my RV?
A
We have 20 pull through RV parking spaces on the north side of our main building. If those happen to be full, you can certainly park in the truck parking area.

Are you open on holidays?
A
Yes, we are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Holidays, snow days, you name it, we’re open.

Do you have wheelchairs available?

Unfortunately we do not have any wheelchairs available for you to use during your visit.

Our main truckstop building is over 130,000 square feet.

Am I allowed to leave my car if I meet a friend?
A
If you do need to leave your vehicle to meet a friend, we request that you park it in the far parking lot. Please let our gift store know if you are leaving it for more than 24 hours.

Do you rent golf carts or scooters?

Golf carts and scooters are not available for rent on-site. If you bring your own, please check in at the Information Tent to get a permit decal.

The Jamboree is a Free event.

Where can I stay while attending the Jamboree?
A
We recommend many different hotels only 15-20 minutes away. Find them here.

Do we need a ticket for the concerts?
A
No ticket is needed. All concerts are FREE. Come enjoy an evening of live music at the World’s Largest Truckstop.
You may want to bring a chair. No alcohol is allowed.

Does the Truckstop have wheelchairs/golf carts available for rent during the event?

Unfortunately we do not have wheelchairs and golf carts available to rent during the event.

Do I need a ticket to enter the Jamboree?

No ticket is needed. Look for the big tent and come join the fun!

Can I use the private showers if I’m not a truck driver?

Everyone can use our showers. If you need a shower ticket, stop at the gift store register to purchase a shower ticket.

We do have a banquet room in the Iowa 80 Kitchen that can seat up to 50 people. Please give us a call at 563-284-6512 to make your reservation.

Iowa 80 Trucking Museum

How much does it cost to visit the museum?
A
Visiting the Iowa 80 Trucking Museum is FREE! We do appreciate donations.

What are the Museum hours?
A
Normal Business Hours are:
Wednesday – Saturday: 9:00am – 5:00pm. Sunday: Noon – 5:00pm.
From Memorial Day to Labor Day:
We are open 7 days a week. Monday – Saturday: 9:00am – 5:00pm and Sunday: Noon – 5:00pm.

Is photography allowed in the Museum?

We recommend you bring a camera along to remember your visit!

How many trucks are in the museum?

There are currently over 100 trucks on display. We are always changing our exhibits so come back often.

How often do exhibits change?

There is no set schedule for changing exhibits. We add new trucks as we get them or have room for them.

Who restores the trucks?

We restore many antique trucks right here on our property.

Do you provide group tours?

If you forgot a chrome accessory, please check out IOWA80.com. If it was a gift item, please give us a call and ask to speak with the gifts manager.

Yes we are the World’s Largest Truckstop. We have many acres of land surrounding our Truckstop that are yet to be developed.
Pet Policy
While the grounds adjacent to Iowa 80 Truckstop are perfect for walking your pets, please be sure to keep them securely leashed at all times. Pets should always be under control and NEVER left unattended.
Please clean up after your pet. Look for our Pet Waste Stations around the Iowa 80 Truckstop.
Iowa 80 Truckstop does provide a self-serve pet wash facility on premise.
The Dogomat Pet Wash is open 24 hours a day and located in front of the Truckomat Truck Wash.
Pets are not allowed inside any of the Iowa 80 Truckstop buildings, with the exception of the Dogomat Pet Wash. Licensed service animals are allowed, but no comfort animals please.
