BALDWINVILLE, Massachusetts Paul F. Buckley 1936 — 2024 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Paul Francis Buckley, born on July 7, 1936 in Athol Massachusetts. Paul was a chef by trade and spent his career working in a variety of restaurants and nursing homes in the Worcester County area. He Retired in 2019 from Ciao Bella's in Worcester after dedicating several decades to his craft. He was also known for his love of horse racing, spending many years Sulky racing at the Hinsdale Race Track. He took immense pleasure in owning and racing horses and later breeding West Highland White Terriers, Beagles and Angora rabbits with his beloved wife Arline. He was born June 1944 in Gardner to Lawrence and Irene Newman. He was raised and loved his childhood spent in South Royalston, where he met his best friend, soul mate and wife Carole Rexroad. She was the daughter of Elaine and the late Derrill C. Matthews of Orange. TROY Luther W. Smith Jr. 1932 — 2023 Luther Williams Smith, Jr., of Troy, NH, died in the late afternoon of January 22, at the tender young age of 90. Born to Luther Sr. and Edith, Uncle Lute (as most of us called him) was a true New Englander, living most of his life here. A 1949 graduate of Orange High School, Lute studied physics at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He was awarded a B.S. (magna cum laude) in 1953.
